Expert Axle Service

A drive axle is a critical component driven by the engine, transferring power to the wheels. Typically found in modern front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicles, the drive axle is split between two half axles, with the differential between them.

Each half axle connects to the wheel via a **Constant Velocity (CV) Joint**. This joint allows the shaft to rotate and transmit power at a constant speed while accommodating the up-and-down motion of the suspension. While CV joints are durable, the protective **CV boot** can crack, leading to grease loss and eventual failure.

How to Spot a Bad CV Axle

The Parking Lot Test: Go to a large empty space (like a parking lot). Roll down your windows and drive slowly in tight circles. If you hear a loud clicking or cracking noise, you likely have a worn CV joint that requires immediate axle shaft replacement.

Don't risk a breakdown where the wheel stops turning. We can inspect your drivetrain and replace worn axles to get you back on the road, "click-free" in no time!
