Expert Axle Service
A drive axle is a critical component driven by the engine, transferring power to the wheels. Typically found in modern front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicles, the drive axle is split between two half axles, with the differential between them.
Each half axle connects to the wheel via a **Constant Velocity (CV) Joint**. This joint allows the shaft to rotate and transmit power at a constant speed while accommodating the up-and-down motion of the suspension. While CV joints are durable, the protective **CV boot** can crack, leading to grease loss and eventual failure.
